Curriculum Framework
This infusion model is organized and designed according to the developmental
ranges, each with an interdisciplinary theme. This allows teachers
flexibility in adapting curriculum content to the needs and experiences of
students. These frameworks recommend a format and content focus that
emphasize a humanities based, multicultural approach for all levels of
instruction.

This framework focus on culture and provide students with exposure to the basic
beliefs, customs, and traditions, of their own, and African and
African-American families through the use of stories, legends, and myths.

[Grades 3-5 ]This framework focus on the dynamic dimensions of the
historical and physical development of Africa with respect to country, state,
and the biographies, time lines, and critical events in Science, Literature,
Technology and Culture. Particular attention will be paid to how these
developments impacted the rest of the world.

This framework focus on broad Geographic, Humanities, and Multicultural
perspectives to understand the global connections of the African and African
American experiences.

This framework focus on world history, and the history of classical
civilizations, including Africa. The importance and contribution of
Africans and African Americans in the areas of geography, economics,
literature, language arts, sciences, and contemporary issues will also be
